You always know when you invite Paul Bailey along to entertain you that you are in for a treat.

Well Tuesday was certainly no exception.  Paul is such a brilliantly excellent entertainer who has such friendly rapour with his audiences.  Always immaculately dressed on stage and looked even better than usual (if that’s at all possible) in his new ‘rather close fitting’ leather pants.  First session he was dressed in black jacket and leathers and changed to a red for his second spot, very smart and very fetching, no wonder he’s such a favourite with the ladies.

Such a fabulous choice of line dance songs, which left me very little to play, but kept the dance floor flowing all night.  In Paul’s second spot he got everyone involved in a game of ’12 Days of Christmas’ it was hilariously funny with Paul joining in and getting everyone going.  Such good fun.

We had a packed house; in fact we were a little over subscribed, but what a fabulous real party atmosphere. Our raffle had over 40 prizes, 30+ provided by ourselves, and thank you to those who brought along the extras, much appreciated.

The Jacobs Table, as always went down really well and plenty to go round for everyone. Thanks to Mavis and Sarah for their assistance in officiating over it for me.

Once again Bill manned the car park assisting people to park safely and comfortably. (Thankfully this year it didn’t rain on him)

Thanks to Mike (our photographer) who stepped in at short notice, he did a great job and captured what a fab night it was and to Chris who did an excellent job at ‘the door’ –  selling raffle tickets. You are all very very much appreciated by me.

A few people who I must mention who help Bill and myself throughout the year every week at line dance classes.  They are  Elaine Goddard, Elaine Mills & Heather – thank you girls, you always do a great job and are such a tremendous help.

Finally, Bill and I would like to wish all our friends and supporters a VERY VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY, HEALTHY 2013
