October Social

Our October Social didn't quite go according to plan. Unfortunately Paul Taylor the act booked was unable to come along due to work committments.  Unfortunately Paul was unable to get hold of Bill or myself as we were away for a few days, but luckily Martine (from Crazylegs Stompers) was on hand and when we arrived home, she'd more or less sorted out Paul's replacement for us, Richard Palmer.  Couldn't have been more pleased with her choice.  A really huge thanks must go to Martine.

It had been a few years since Richard had been to the Bronze and that was again as a replacement act, but that time for Paul Bailey who was unwell.

Richard is such a versatile young singer and just gets on with the job in hand and certainly keeps the dancers and listeners very happy.  It's nice that he spends so much time going around chatting to everyone, mind you think he knows most of them as he's been to the Wirral and surrounding clubs on several occasions and seems very popular with the ladies.

As always, we had a 'full house' with our usual 'large' raffle. Always a brilliant atmosphere and lovely to see some 'new' faces, hope they'll continue to come to our future socials.

Our next social will be our Xmas 'do' with the one and only 'Mr. Linedance' Paul Bailey.  Paul never fails to get the 'house rockin'

Bill did a great job making sure everyone parked safely and securely, think he just likes to keep out of the way really. Thanks to Chris, on the door, who does a brilliant job and our resident dj (me) of course, but most of all thanks to everyone who came along.
