A great nights entertainment from Thorne Hill and Joni Harms and her band.  Unfortunately we arrived a little late due to the horrendous traffic going to the Liverpool match.

We had only just sat down when Thorne Hill came on stage.  Unfortunately he'd left his stage 'dress' at home, but I don't really think anyone took much notice as the dance floor was full from the minute he started singing until his last song.  He sings a brilliant variety of linedance songs and has a great voice.  I love his version of Memphis Love to name but a few.   What a great warm up artist.

Then came the turn of Joni Harms and her band.  Joni is over from the States for a European tour and Mossbank was her first step.   I was surprised how petite she was, but her voice is amazing.  She really looked the part, lovely hat, gorgeous boots and a very infectious smile.  She was so warm and friendly towards the crowd, who responded by keeping the dance floor full.  It was lovely to hear her sing some of her originals, West Texas Waltz, Catalogue Dreams, We work it out, amongst many others.

David and Martine and their gang of loyal helpers, did an amazing job in dressing the room.  We also played bingo (unfortunately non of our coach won) but nevertheless most of us took part, but some of our group did win on the raffle.  Unfortunately the night came to a close all too soon.  We had to leave just 15 minutes before the end due to our coach leaving at 11.30.

Think most of us were by then getting a bit weary, what with all the dancing and thoroughly having a great enjoyable night.  Roll on the next one. !!!!!!!
